I was having a similar problem, especially with a lot of memory being used. I believe I've found a solution by setting Intel Rapid Start to flush active memory pages, as explained here: http://downloadmirror.intel.com/22647/eng/Intel%20Rapid%20Start%20Technology%20Deployment%20Guide%20v1.0.pdf It that requires edits in the registry:
Go to the following key in RegEdit: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\irstrtsv\Parameters
Then change the values to 1 for the following values: FlushActivePagesEnabled, FlushModifiedPagesEnabled, FlushStandbyPagesEnabled
