you did not mentioned what OS you're using. I've a Lenovo E540 too
Anyway I don't know what happens resuming from hybernation but I can assure you that with last driver (17.1.0.19 dated july 2014) I've solved every issue leaving the parameters of the adapter on default!
Resuming from sleep also works fine.
So please update.
