I recently changed out a Centrino Wireless-N 2230 with a Centrino Advanced-N 6235 on my Gigabyte H77N-WiFi motherboard. The 2230 was working fine, but it does not have Miracast support (and I don't expect that it will any time soon), and I have not been able to get wireless display since upgrading to Windows 8.1. So, I popped in the 6235 which is documented to support Miracast, and it seemed to install without issue. It is showing in device manager as enabled and working properly, and I have the latest driver installed. The problem is, it's not getting a connection. It's transferring at 0 mb/s and not sending or receiving any data. When I do a diagnostic on the adapter, it says there is a problem that can't be fixed, and in the details it says something like "Windows can't automatically bind the IP protocol stack to the network adapter." I have tried using the latest drivers from both the Gigabyte website and the Intel website. I have tried uninstalling the device and the drivers with the firewall disabled. I have tried stopping and restarting the IP Helper. Nothing seems to work. What am I doing wrong?
