are you sure that you downloaded the latest IDE ? I am not aware that they changed this. Yes, it seems that reformatting the SD-card looks like a possible solution. This is weird.

You're right - I did accidently download the older IDE. I tried removing the IDE and using a fresh download before I did the firmware update, I must have downloaded it by accident. Today is not my day .
