Hi all,
Once I power the board via the power adapter with output voltage 6V/450mA and connect it to PC, the Intel® Quark SoC X1000 chip get hot fast. I checked, any arduino board must be rated for a minimum of 250mA current output, although you will likely want something more like 500mA or 1A output, as it gives you the current necessary to power a servo or twentyLEDs if you want to. That is why i still using this output voltage 6V/450mA power with input AC 240V 50Hz AC-to-DC adapter. May I ask why the chip heat up so fast as I have not load the program yet. Can cause any harm to the board? thanks reply.
BEst regards,
Amey
